Paisley Butterfly 13 hosted an African Library Project Rich Minds Book Drive this summer which wrapped up on August 25. The response was overwhelming! We received book donations from the Baldwin County Literacy Council in Robertsdale, AL, local residents and from Loxley Elementary School in Loxley, AL to helps us meet our goal of 1,000 books.

Sylvan Learning Center of Spanish Fort, AL was our collection site and did a great job of hosting our collection box. Currently, the books are being sorted and packaged for shipment to the African Libary Project’s New Orleans warehouse in anticipation of being shipped to Sierra Leone, Africa.
